Steptember - Every Step Counts
 Probity Stepping for Steptember

Probity Consulting is pleased to be supporting the Cerebral Palsy Society by taking part in the Steptember challenge between 2nd and 29th September. The challenge involves taking 10,000 steps everyday for 28 days.  This can be done by walking or almost any other form of exercise – so our teams should be pretty fit by the end of the month!

Probity has entered two teams, one from each office (Auckland and Wellington) so there is some inter-office competitiveness to see which team can take the most steps over the month. Money raised by the challenge will help children and adults living with cerebral palsy – a condition that affects movement and posture.

pencarrow Probity Consulting runs for fun and funds

May 2015 – an energetic team from our Wellington offices took part in the Pencarrow Lighthouse Fun Run and raised $475 for 3 local charities. The team of 16, made up from Probity employees, friends and family ran and walked a total of 140kms between them from Burdens Gate in Eastbourne to the beautiful and historic Pencarrow Lighthouse and back. The money raised has been donated to Skylight, Conductive Education Wellington and The Samaritans.

Of course we consulted about the project first, ran a cost benefit analysis, produced a business case and carried out a thorough search and selection process for the right team. We reviewed the project status regularly and even had an on-site project manager to ensure pre-event preparation took place and that the event went smoothly on the day!
